Australia Post Delivery Delays
Australia Post have advised us of a delay in parcel delivery due to reduced flights, social distancing procedures and increased demand. They are working continuously to maintain delivery and apologise for any inconvenience caused.
Free click & collect – Temporarily unavailable
In light of the COVID-19 crisis, we are taking steps to ensure the safety of our customers and staff. As such, Click & Collect services will be temporarily unavailable.
Model Hobbies will process and dispatch all orders as soon as possible. We always ensure the chosen shipping method is of a high quality service. However, orders placed during a sale or peak trading period may experience delays in processing orders.
We advise customers to shop and choose carefully before processing their order. Should you wish to amend or cancel an order that have been processed, please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org before we send a shipping confirmation e-mail.
All orders placed online will be shipped to you using our preferred service, Australia Post. Orders cannot be picked up from our warehouse. However, we are happy to provide a click and collect service in Sydney Southwest Region at Wetherill Park Stocklands from 4pm-6pm weekdays in front of San Churro and Hero Sushi.
- For all online orders Australia – wide shipping is free for orders over $100
- Standard shipping is $9.95 for orders under $100
All shipping charges are non-refundable.
All parcels require a signature upon receipt of delivery. If delivery of parcel is not received, the driver will leave a delivery card at the registered address. To collect the parcel, the delivery card must be presented with a form of photo ID, and parcels must be collected within 10 business days from the date it is received by the local post office. If an undelivered parcel is not collected within 10 business days, it will be returned to us and you will be notified via email. Re-delivery is charged at an additional $12.95 for standard shipping.
